The Brisbane Racing Club (BRC) is the major sponsor of the Queensland Horse Racing Museum which is powered by the Thoroughbred Racing History Association (T.R.H.A). It is a not-for-profit organisation established to preserve the history of the thoroughbred industry for the general public and industry participants.
It is staffed by enthusiastic volunteers who have a background in racing and are keen to exchange the knowledge stored in the Research Centre & Archive housed on Doomben racecourse to the public on Tuesdays and Wednesdays between 10am and 1pm or by appointment outside these hours.
Our displays at the Racing Museum in the heritage-listed Old Tote building at Eagle Farm racecourse are open to the general public by prior appointment only.
We will accept any thoroughbred racing history items we deem appropriate for inclusion in our current collection.
